Monday, April 1, 2019

Congratulations to Rianon Wallace-Demby, an undergraduate in the lab of Jim Thorp at KBS and an EEOB student at KU. She was recently awarded an Instars Fellowship to attend the Society for Freshwater Science annual meeting in Salt Lake City, UT in May! Rianon, mentored by PhD student Emily Arsenault, is conducting independent research to investigate how microplastic particles move through aquatic food webs. Jim
